Empower Your Engineering Career

Are you feeling disheartened by constant rejections? Questioning whether you're giving up too soon? Losing hope in the process?

If this resonates with you, I’m here to help. I offer a comprehensive, structured approach designed to provide clarity, rebuild your confidence, and guide you through each step of your job search.

Too often, job seekers rely heavily on recruitment consultants many of whom are disconnected from the realities of the industry. There is a noticeable gap when it comes to real, practical support from professionals actively working within the engineering sector.

My focus is on supporting individuals who have recently migrated to Australia, those looking to transition their engineering career, or those seeking their very first opportunity. You don’t have to navigate this alone—let’s work together to unlock your next step.

My journey..

I arrived in Australia from New Delhi in 2006 to pursue a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University. Like many international students, I carried the weight of expectations, particularly knowing that my parents were making a significant financial investment in my tertiary education.

While I wasn’t a high-distinction student, I was deeply engaged in extracurricular activities throughout university. This involvement played a pivotal role in helping me secure engineering internships, providing me with invaluable industry exposure and practical experience while I was still studying.

As I approached graduation, I encountered a common challenge faced by many international students: the limitations of not holding Australian Permanent Residency. Despite performing well during my internship, the host company was unable to offer me a graduate role due to visa restrictions. That period was filled with uncertainty and self-doubt, amplified by persistent commentary that it would be near-impossible to secure a graduate engineering role without permanent residency. You are not good enough blah blah....!

However, I remained determined and focused and eventually secured a graduate position with one of the world’s largest mining companies. This opportunity became a turning point, enabling me to apply for a state-sponsored permanent residency.

Since then, I have never looked back. Over the years, I have worked across Australia and Internationally on multi-billion-dollar industrial plants for some of the largest global organizations. I have held diverse roles including Electrical Engineer, Plant Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Electrical Superintendent, Operational Specialist, and various senior management positions.

After spending more than a decade on the client side, I made the transition to consulting—initially with some hesitation. But my ambition and desire to grow professionally led me to take on the challenge. I made this move during a particularly busy period in my personal life, relocating homes and welcoming my second child. Despite the complexity, the transition proved to be an incredibly rewarding chapter in my career, especially as I had the chance to contribute to major renewable energy projects and growing in consulting world.

Why me?

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a career coach, but you are gaining a trusted advisor who will be actively involved to ensure you are successful. I offer practical, purpose-fit guidance tailored to your personal goals and career aspirations.

Too often, I see individuals approach the job market whether as new graduates or migrants entering unfamiliar territory—with the wrong mindset. The Australian engineering workforce can be challenging to navigate, especially without the right insights and support.

I’ve helped many professionals at various stages of their careers—particularly migrant engineers—successfully enter and grow within the Australian engineering sector. The statistics are telling around 47% of migrant engineers actively seeking roles are not employed in the engineering profession, and the numbers are even more concerning for female migrant engineers, who face added structural and cultural barriers.

This is not my full-time role, but a passion-driven side venture. I am deeply committed to helping both migrant and local engineers bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. Through practical advice and real-world strategies, I aim to empower individuals to navigate the system with confidence and come out on the other side with success.

I’m committed to sharing over 20 years of experience as a migrant in this beautiful Australia which I now proudly call home, a place full of opportunities to build a meaningful and successful life.
